Co-Create was an internal program developed at Ikea (Ingka group) to support frontline innovation activities. These activities were frequently developed at the line or store level, proved and tested regionally, and then spread up and out through the business — benefiting all Ikea stores and activities.

Co-Create aimed to support these initiatives through an engaging digital platform and library for sharing ways of working; regular campaigns to encourage contributions to the platform and overall development; as well as a tool library for local teams to run their cocreative workshops.

Our responsibility was the digital platform overall: managing and coordinating with brand and development vendors, responding to internal campaigns, research and discovery, as well as developing the participatory tool libraries.
